Present Your Best Face Forward with AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo {Review}

Amazingly, as I am entering my mid-30s (gasp!), I find that acne is becoming a major issue for me. It’s like I’m reliving my teen years all over again! During a recent business event, a makeup technician that was giving me a mini-makeover told me it could be due to hormones. So, until I’m able to visit a dermatologist and get to the root of the issue, she suggested I try cleaning my face using products with benzoyl peroxide. This turned out to be a timely suggestion as I was just about to start using an AcneFree Clear Skin Treatments product through my participation in the Walmart Moms program. Read on for my review of the AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo system and see how it can help you or your teen put your best face forward!

AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo Review

AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo Review

The AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo is a daily cleanser containing benzoyl peroxide that comes with a cleansing brush that helps exfoliate and deep clean your skin. The cleanser is oil-free, which is super important for me since my skin is oily by nature. Priced at $19.97 in Walmart stores and Walmart.com, the AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo kit comes with the cleansing brush, a 4 oz cleanser bottle, 2 brush heads, and 2 AA batteries, so you’ll be all ready to use the product right out of the box! The brush has two speeds and is waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about it getting wet and can even use it in the shower!

AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo Review

What I like about using a cleansing brush is that you feel like your skin is cleaner than when just using your hands or a rag. It’s also great for a tween or teen that is learning how to properly care for his or her skin; a brush will help encourage your child to wash his or her face better due to the fun factor of using the brush! Using the AcneFree Clear Skin Treatments Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo product helped my skin feel cleaner and fresher, but in my particular case it didn’t help control my breakouts. Perhaps that is because I have another underlying issue that needs the help of a dermatologist. Perhaps using just the one product wasn’t enough for my skin. I’m not sure what the reason was, but at such affordable prices, why not give AcneFree products a try for yourself and see how they work for you?

Put Your (or Your Teen’s) Best Face Forward This Year!

In addition to taking care of your face and ensuring you clean it properly, if you or your teen wear glasses or contact lenses, you may want to look into Bausch + Lomb’s SofLens daily disposable contact lenses! I wish I could wear these myself, but because I have astigmatism in one of my eyes I have to wear special contact lenses. However, these daily disposable lenses take away the need to store and clean your contact lenses on a daily basis – you simply wear a pair for a day, take them out at the end of the day, then toss! How perfect is that for your active teenager?

To try these products for yourself or to help your child, here are the products you can find at Walmart or on Walmart.com:

  • AcneFree Advanced Deep Cleansing Duo – $19.97
  • AcneFree 24 Hour Acne Clearing System – $13.97
  • Bausch + Lomb SofLens daily disposable contact lenses – $18.88 per box of 30 (prescription required)

How do you encourage your children to face the world with confidence and put their best face forward each and every day?

      I typically wet the brush and my face first, then put the cleanser on the brush, before using it.
