Proud Mami Moments Continue

July 27, 2008 By Melanie Edwards 3 Comments

I continue to be a proud mami.

My baby girl just keeps on doing things that make me very proud of her.

Yesterday we went to Toys R Us and bought her a Little Tikes sand & water table.

Today my husband was putting it together and the legs didn’t seem to properly click. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be that way or if it’s defective, but if it’s meant to be that way, it definitely wasn’t sturdy enough.

So, we’re going to take it back to see if it is indeed defective or trade it for a different one that’s safer.

Well anyone who has a toddler knows they are very impatient. Here she’s seeing this brand new toy and is super excited and can’t wait to play with it. Having to wait for her daddy to put it together was torture enough.

Now, we have to tell her that we have to take it back to the store because it’s “broken”.

Can I just say how good she did? She completely understood, didn’t fuss, didn’t even whine.

She even helped to put it all back in the box so we can return it.

She makes me prouder each day!

They can be so amazing, can’t they? Little Miss, my 2 year old does NOT cease to amaze me.

That was such a big girl way to handle the situation. I know you were proud of your baby girl!

    Jenn: I sure am! 🙂

Sheena: that’s pretty funny that you remember – just wait till your lil guy starts it up 😉
