My three-year-old baby boy has been a Spider-Man fan for quite a while and though he’s also a fan of other super heroes, he continues to have a special fondness for Spider-Man. His obsession for Spidey probably began when he met your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure. Since then, he has watched Spider-Man cartoons, read books, and acquired numerous Spider-Man products – from undergarments and pajamas to bedsheets and toys. The boy is fully decked out in Spider-Man gear!
You can imagine that anything Spider-Man related is a hit in our house! Though The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is rated PG-13, much like we did with the first installment of the movie series, we will allow our baby boy to watch bits and pieces of the movie that are safe for his little eyes. In all honesty, he only really wants to see the action parts with Spider-Man swinging around – the rest is just, “boring mom!” Go figure. LOL In conjunction with the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Blu-ray, which is now available nationwide in Walmart stores and Walmart.com, there is a fun contest you and your kids can take part in for a really fun prize at their school! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Be A Hero Contest
Entering the Be A Hero Contest is simple. All you have to do is create a video explaining why your school is amazing, upload it to YouTube, and share the link to your video on Twitter using the hashtag #BeAHeroContest – all before Sunday, September 14. Five grand prize winners will win a Spider-Man visit to their school, along with other great prizes. Additionally, another 100 winners will win a Spider-Man recorded audio greeting for their school and yet another 150 winners will win school supplies for their school! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Blu-ray
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Blu-ray combo pack includes a Blu-ray disc, a DVD disc, and a Digital HD copy. As I mentioned, you can already find it in stores and you’ll be pleased to know you’ll find 13 deleted scenes plus 100 minutes of extras on the discs!
