As my baby boy grows older (he’s about to be 4!), we see him more capable of doing things like his big sister. She has a scooter she likes to ride on and we see him eyeing it as she rides. In fact, he’s asked a few times if he could try it out for himself! We figure it might be time for him to have a scooter of his own, so we were excited to learn about the Razor A Kick Scooter, this year’s hottest ride-on toy on Walmart’s Chosen by Kids list. Walmart sent us our own Razor A Kick Scooter to try out and though baby boy won’t see it until Christmas morning, I did break it out and looked it over for myself. Razor A Kick Scooter Review
The Razor A Kick Scooter comes in multiple colors and is recommended for ages 5+, up to 143 lbs. One thing that’s different about this scooter from others is the rear-fender brake that lets kids easily stop the scooter. Something I think is definitely a plus is that the Razor A Kick Scooter can completely be folded, making for easy storing and even carrying (if you were to take it to a park, for example). The handlebars can also be adjusted to three heights, which is great for sharing with siblings!
When Walmart conducted its Chosen by Kids focus group, they asked kids ages 18 months – 12 years to play with new holiday toys and used their picks to create their Chosen by Kids Top 20 Toys list. This year, Walmart included scooters, ride-ons, and racing cars for the first time as part of the options in the focus group. And, the Razor A Kick Scooter was chosen by kids as their favorite ride-on!
