Why Men Shouldn’t Do Grocery Shopping: A Purex Video Review

February 19, 2010 By Melanie Edwards 9 Comments

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Purex. All opinions are 100% mine.

Viernes Social at ModernMami.comHello, hello. It is that time of the week again. Viernes! Friday! And, it’s definitely TGIF for me. I’m looking forward to having some fun family time this weekend, though I was grateful to return to a “normal” routine this past week as I had no travel.

For today’s Viernes Social, I am sharing a new video. And let me tell you…this vlogging thing is interesting. But, I’m trying. Hopefully I’ll start to feel more comfortable with it soon enough.

Anyway, this video is about the Purex 3-in-1 Laundry Sheet. As you may know, I’ve been a Purex Insider for a few months now and have been trying out the sheets on my laundry. Take a look at the video below to hear all about my experience in using the laundry sheets. And ladies, you’ll appreciate the story about my husband and the grocery shopping.

If you want to try out the sheet for yourself, you can get a free sample by visiting the Purex blog. Oh, and check out this other video from Purex; it made me laugh.

Have you used the Purex laundry sheets? Do you feel they save you time and/or money? If you haven’t tried them, maybe you can share with us your pet peeve about doing laundry.

That is exactly why I do not let my husband go grocery shopping. He will either forget to use the coupon or refuses to use any coupons, LOL. I don't mind shopping for food and stuff for the house b/c I know I will get the best deal 🙂

PS Those sheets are amazing!! I only buy them when they are on sale even though they are definitely worth every penny!

What is it about men and not liking coupons? He doesn't like it either when I bring a stack of coupons to the grocery store.

OK…I had NO idea these laundry sheets existed. I need to diversify my shopping and explore new brands, for sure. I´ll let you know how it goes!

Melanie, great vlog! Husbands just need a little training. Mine didn't like them until he saw how much we were saving. What I like the most is that these are perfect for when we travel and want to do a small load of laundry.

Thanks Yoly! I never thought about the travel factor, but you're right. They're easy to take along!
