For the Love of Mac & Cheese! Trying Out the New Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Mac & Cheese

June 26, 2013 By Melanie Edwards 4 Comments

My baby girl is truly a fan of macaroni and cheese. She will eat bowls and bowls of it and it doesn’t much matter what kind of mac and cheese it is – from homemade mac and cheese to the boxed versions – she just loves macaroni and cheese! So, when Walmart offered an opportunity to try out the brand new Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Mac & Cheese, I couldn’t pass it up! I knew my girl would love to give them a try – check out what she thought!

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Mac & Cheese Product Review

The new Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Mac & Cheese is an exclusive product for Walmart, which just launched in stores yesterday! Similar to other boxed macaroni and cheese, it retails at $.98 per box, and comes in four flavors: Butter Parmesan, Cheesy Pizza, Nacho Cheese, and Cheddar. So far we’ve tried the Nacho Cheese and Cheesy Pizza flavors, and my daughter loved them so much, she was even licking the sauce from the bowl! Something else she really enjoyed are the comics on the back of each box, where Finn and his friends discuss the new flavor offerings.

Now, I know that homemade mac & cheese is preferred and I’ve been making a very simple version for the kids over the last year, which they love. But, sometimes a box of macaroni and cheese comes in really handy and these are right in-line with the cute Goldfish crackers most kids already love! The noodles are shaped like the goldfish too! It’s also good that no artificial preservatives are used.

I’m looking forward to trying out the butter parmesan flavor myself and am anxious to see how baby boy likes the goldfish-shaped macaroni and cheese, since he hasn’t been able to try it out yet. But, I know he loves Goldfish crackers, so I can’t wait to see if he recognizes his fish friends!

Do your kids love macaroni and cheese as much as my daughter? Will you give the new Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Mac & Cheese a try?

The most disgusting thing we ever tasted. I made it last night for my grand-daughter who is 8 and she wouldn’t eat it. Very gummy. Really wanted it to be good.

Why did I say this. I was actually retarded. Minigame! vs Santa Clause going into cardiac arrest.

I actually like the gummy-ness of it, if I may describe it like that. I added some meat and onions to it along with some hot sauce–mm! Was good for me! 🙂
