As someone that has been wearing eyeglasses for over 20 years, I know that purchasing a pair of glasses can sometimes be costly. Even purchasing contacts every few months adds up! However, it’s important to monitor your vision and get your annual eye exam – even if you don’t currently wear glasses or contacts! Not having the right prescription on your glasses can cause other health issues, such as headaches, and does more damage to your eyes. I plan to make sure that my family and I are off to a healthy start in 2015, so we’ll be catching up with doctor appointments and well visits, including eye exams. Affordable Designer Glasses at Walmart

During a Walmart home office trip this fall, I learned more about various eyeglass frames and price points available at Walmart. Did you know you can find affordable designer glasses at Walmart with brands like JLo, Baby Phat, Sophia Loren, and many more? Prices vary from brand and frame type, but you can find a variety of choices online and at your local Walmart Vision Center for your entire family, including kids! Check out the new Rampage frame I received from Walmart during that trip – cute, aren’t they? I love the purple color and design embellishments!
Colored Contacts for a New Look
On that same trip, we were also introduced to Air Optix Colors colored contacts, which blend with your eye color for a more natural look. These are monthly disposable contact lenses priced at $84 per box. I remember wearing lots of colored contacts when I was in high school and college, with colors like hazel, green, and gray, making for a fun look! With the new year, perhaps I’ll start wearing a few colors again!
