Kid-Friendly Game Day Snack: Baked Ranch Chicken Tender Bites {Review & Giveaway}

January 27, 2015 By Melanie Edwards

Sponsored Content

My nine-year-old is a huge fan of ranch dressing. She dips just about all she can in it and even adds some to her rice! When I heard about Naturally Fresh dressings and was asked to share a game day recipe using their products, I knew that a kid-friendly appetizer using Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing would be perfect.

Kid-Friendly Game Day Recipe: Baked Ranch Chicken Tender Bites

Using wholesome ingredients, Naturally Fresh makes homemade-tasting dressings and dips in a variety of flavors, such as Classic Ranch, Lite Ranch, Bleu Cheese, and Lite Bleu Cheese. Naturally Fresh products have no artificial flavors or colors and no preservatives. You can find Naturally Fresh products in the refrigerated section of your local grocery store – I found them right near the lettuce and other greens! To see which stores carry Naturally Fresh near you, check out the store locator or use their mobile app.

Naturally Fresh Salad Dressings and Dips

We tried the Classic Ranch and Bleu Cheese dressings and really enjoyed the creaminess and fresh taste of each. My daughter definitely gave a big thumbs up with the ranch dressing! Check out this delicious kid-friendly game day recipe using Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing that’s great for all of your Big Game guests! Then, scroll down to enter our giveaway so you too can try Naturally Fresh dressings!

Kid-Friendly Game Day Recipe: Baked Ranch Chicken Tender Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins, cubed
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing
  • 1-2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • Herbs and spices of your liking

Kid-Friendly Game Day Recipe: Baked Ranch Chicken Tender Bites

Directions

1. Season chicken to your liking. I used a mix of adobo, paprika, and black pepper, but feel free to use whichever herbs and spices you prefer.

2. In a large bowl, mix seasoned chicken with lemon juice and ranch dressing. Stir or hand-mix until well coated.

3. Place bread crumbs in a bowl or plastic storage bag, adding some seasoning to your crumbs. I added a little oregano to mine.

4. Add bread crumbs to chicken, adding a little at a time to gauge how much you’ll need. Stir or hand-mix until well coated.

5. Place chicken on a greased baking sheet in an even layer, separating pieces if needed, and adding toothpicks. (I like using Reynolds Baking Sheets Non-Stick Parchment Paper instead of greasing my baking sheet or using wax paper.)

6. Bake in preheated 375° F oven for about 12 minutes, or until golden-brown.

7. Serve with extra Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch Dressing for dipping!

My favorite way to cook with ranch is in macaroni or potato salad. We use it primarily as a dressing or dip, but some recipes are better when you add ranch instead of standard mayo.
