Movies about dads always hit a spot for me. I love seeing my husband share special moments with our children, so naturally when I see similar moments in movies or TV, I immediately melt. The upcoming movie, Delivery Man, set to be released in theaters on November 22nd is about a father too, albeit an unconventional one.
Delivery Man is a comedy starring Vince Vaughn, who finds out that his donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago, resulted in him being the biological father of 533 children! Vince Vaughn’s character then embarks on a journey to meet several of his biological children, which no doubt results in many humorous, and perhaps even tender moments. After watching the trailer myself, I have to say that while being the father of 533 children is far-fetched, I love the take of seeking out family. This movie may not be a family movie (it’s rated PG-13 and obviously touches on mature subjects), but it does seem to be a fun movie you can enjoy as a couple or with friends. I’m looking forward to learning more about Delivery Man in the coming months and will hopefully catch it when it’s released!
