Top 3 Reasons To Support Appetite for the Arches

January 29, 2016 By Ricardo Escobar Leave a Comment

For the third year in a row, chefs from the central Florida area come together to create unique dishes for Appetite for the Arches, a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. Here are the top three reasons why you should consider supporting this worthy cause.

Night Out On the Town

When was the last time you dressed up and enjoyed some fine dining? Leave the kids at home and take your significant other with you to the Orlando World Center Marriott on Saturday, March 5. There you will be treated to an endless array of signature dishes from top chefs around the central Florida area. And if you hurry now, you can secure your tickets for $150 each but only if you purchase before Thursday, February 4.

Fine Dining, Familiar Ingredients

What truly distinguishes Appetite of the Arches from any other dining experience is the fact that local chefs use signature McDonald’s ingredients to create their dishes. The result is truly creative. You may enjoy deviled eggs but have you tried them using bacon, egg, and grape tomato from McDonald’s? Gnocchi may be familiar to you but how about Kale Gnocchi Carbonara using McDonald’s English muffin, French fries, and white onions? Cocktails aren’t left behind as even simple ingredients like McDonald’s syrup and butter can be used to create the tried and true Old Fashioned. Your ticket grants you entrance to an expansive hall filled with unique small plates that find a delicate balance between familiar fast food flavors and fine dining. It’s all-you-can-eat so feel free to try as much as possible from the chefs behind 4Rivers, Cask & Larder, Rusty Spoon, K Restaurant and more!

A Worthy Cause

We could point out the value of the ticket price by emphasizing the variety of chefs participating and the corresponding quality of the dishes. However, the true impact of your contribution is that it supports the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. The well-known charity provides a home away from home for families with children who are seeking medical treatment at nearby hospitals right here in the Orlando area. Dressing up to enjoy a fine dining experience certainly has its appeal but the real reason this event exists is to continue to support those who need a helping hand when they truly need it the most.

Please visit the Appetite for the Arches’ website for more information and to purchase your tickets. Remember, tickets are discounted from now until Thursday, February 4.

Will we see you at Appetite for the Arches?
