Renewing Our Holiday Spirit at Nickelodeon’s Let It Snow 2013

November 29, 2013 By Sujeily Witherspoon Leave a Comment

Nickelodeon Suites Resort's Let it Snow

Thought it didn’t snow in Florida? Think again! Nickelodeon Suites Resort’s Let It Snow gives families an opportunity to experience the magic of winter at Christmastime without leaving the Sunshine State. On select nights through December 30, families at the Nickelodeon Suites Resort can enjoy a winter wonderland of ice, falling snow flurries, holiday adornment, and yuletide festivities alongside the beloved Nickelodeon characters Dora the Explorer, Diego, and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Our family kicked the holiday season off at Nickelodeon’s Let It Snow 13 event and it was magical. You will immediately feel the holiday spirit as you walk amidst the beautiful, bright blue and silver holiday lights decorating the Oasis Pool area. At the Nick Café guests can enjoy holiday treats including hot chocolate while enjoying performances and photo opportunities with Dora, Boots and Diego, SpongeBob and Patrick, and the Team Umizoomi characters.

Next, head over through the main lobby to Studio Nick for Nickelodeon Suites Resort’s holiday show, Celebrate Nickmas, where the little ones can meet and greet with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Although a reservation is required for this show, the hotel does offer stand by and plenty of space in the front of the theatre for children.

The event staff provided me with a gift bag and as I browsed through it a couple more things caught my eye. Did you know that Nickelodeon Suites Resort offers a holiday camp during the Thanksgiving and Christmas break? Neither did I! Current first through sixth graders can enjoy their break with their favorite Nick characters, splash in the comfortable 84 degree Oasis Pool, soar down the inflatable slide and who can forget the SLIME!

So if you’re looking for something new to do with the family this holiday season I suggest booking with Nickelodeon Suites Resort for the Let It Snow Celebration. Your family is sure to walk away singing ‘Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!’
