FREE Santa Photos & Fun for the Kids with #jcpSanta!

The classic holiday picture with Santa – should you do it with the kids or not? That is the question so many of us, especially those with little ones, face this time of year. One huge deterrent is the holiday shopping crowd that can just be way too much to battle and is overstimulating, so that by the time your turn comes, nobody wants to smile anymore. That kind of experience might even make parents want to shed a tear! Don’t get me wrong, some of the best pictures with Santa are those that capture our kids’ priceless faces, you know, the ones other than that million dollar smile we all hope and wish for! If only there was a simplified solution to this problem.

Well, this year we had the opportunity to visit with Santa at the JCPenney Kissimmee, FL location at the Loop West Shopping Center, and it was quick and painless! It’s conveniently located close to the highway, so don’t let the physical address scare you away. Parking is a breeze and once inside the store, you can find Santa a short walk towards the back where he is surrounded by very festive scenery. Read on to find out more about the fun we had!

We were pleasantly surprised that Santa authentically looks the part, even with a real beard! He greets you with his jolly smile, sitting across from JCPenney’s holiday section. The area is filled with lots of holiday decor, many different Santa figurines, Christmas trees and more. Santa’s “elves” work hard to make sure everyone gets their pictures and makes it through in a timely fashion. No need to worry if you’re not sure how to get to Santa, there is someone to greet you at the entrance of the store to provide directions and help.

Once this special visit with Santa is captured, your photo can be sent to your email or Facebook page with #jcpSanta, and even includes a festive frame. We received ours instantly! (This makes it super easy to share with relatives while you finish your shopping or make the trip back home.) You can also take additional pics with your own camera for some extra shots. My son was so excited to see Santa, but too shy to go up to him on his own and the baby just had no idea what was going on. Overall, my little munchkins did great, as long as I sat with them. Santa also has some candy canes to help encourage some of the hesitant kids that come by. Just for visiting with Santa, the kids get to pick out a reindeer antler headband or a holiday bracelet, and grownups also get a $10 off $25 coupon as well as an offer for the portrait studio (that’s further back in the store).
