Top 5 Reasons to Visit SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration

December 3, 2016 By Vanessa Morales 1 Comment

Aside from classic attractions at the annual SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration, like the O Wonderous Night and Shamu shows, there are some new events going on this year worth checking out. We had the opportunity to preview some of them in The Christmas Market area and while we would’ve loved to see it all, it was nice to experience the Christmas beauty without crowds. Who can say no to special treats, like cinnamon donuts? Yum! Or hot cocoa in a souvenir mug? Ok, I may have had to say no to the treats, since there were no gluten free options available at the time, but they did look and smell delicious!

SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration

We’ve always enjoyed the Christmas vibe at SeaWorld, but it was nice to see some changes to keep things fresh. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon with some of our extended family, because there really is fun for the whole family! My munchkins had fun just in the limited area we were in, so I can’t wait to see their faces when we go back. It’s become part of our annual traditions for the season, over the past few years. There are several reasons to make the trip, but here are just some of my favorites!

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration: Top 5 Reasons to Visit!

  1. Rudolph’s Christmas Town – a new, themed area based on the 1964 classic movie, “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” this area brings new games, lots of great photo ops, both with scenery and character meet and greets. Bring the family to capture your annual holiday family picture and grab some Holiday Kettle Corn (multi-colored sweetness) before you leave.
  2. Santa’s Workshop – also a new area where you can visit with Santa, but unfortunately it was closed off for the preview event. We will certainly venture back to check it out!
  3. Sea of Trees – a classic choreographed tree light show. It never gets old.
  4. Ring in the New Year – what a great way to welcome 2017, while enjoying the sights of SeaWorld!
  5. Find Your Holiday Cheer – Not yet excited for this holiday season or already over it due to the overwhelming Christmas presence by the retail industry? Spend a couple of hours at SeaWorld, listen to live holiday tunes by the fire, take in all the scenery, and it will surely put that warm and toasty holiday feeling back in your heart! 😉

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration is included with your park admission and will run Friday-Sunday through December 11. After that you can check it out every day through December 31! Plus right now you can snag an annual pass that includes an additional 3 months for free!

Disclosure: We were provided complimentary admission to SeaWorld Orlando to experience their Christmas Celebration. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

That’s a delightful list! I’m sure visitors there would have a grand time. As the holiday is near, you might be interested with Kidioke sing-along music playing story book, just in time for the season of giving.
