Getting to Know Our Serta iSeries Mattress

Sleep is something I personally don’t think much about, except that I know I need sleep to function and I know I don’t get enough of it. Being that I have young children and good, abundant sleep is still years away, I need to have quality sleep to make up for the quantity that’s lacking. A good mattress is key in helping you get quality sleep – something I learned the hard way.

Getting to Know Our Serta iSeries Mattress

About two years ago, we purchased a new mattress for our queen bed and thought it was a good, comfortable mattress. But, it’s really hard to tell these things in the store and after a few months, we started to feel the reality – literally. I would wake up feeling pain in my back, hips, and legs; even my husband would wake up feeling beat up. So, when we got the opportunity to partner with Serta this year, we figured we had nothing to lose and hoped we’d find a new mattress that would help us both be more comfortable.

We recently had a complimentary Serta iSeries mattress set delivered to us, after picking out a model we liked at a local store. We chose the Serta iSeries Trump Trevi model mainly because it just felt right in the store. We’ve only had it at home for a couple of weeks, but so far, we’re enjoying the softness and comfort of the mattress. My husband, especially, can’t stop talking about how much he loves his new bed! We’re looking forward to trying it out long-term and sharing more with you about our experience throughout the rest of the year.

In the meantime, Serta is currently hosting an iComfort contest, where you can enter for the chance to win a new iComfort Directions mattress set! Here are the full details of their contest and how to enter:

  • Find out what your sleeping position says about you and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a new iComfort Directions mattress set with the Motion Custom Adjustable Foundation, plus accessories!
  • Answer a few questions on the Serta Facebook page about your Comfort Direction to see what type of mattress works best for your sleeping position.
  • If you visit a local Serta retailer and post a photo of yourself to Pinterest showing your sleeping position on an iComfort mattress, you’ll get extra entries to the contest.
  • All entries must be submitted before June 30, 2013.

I haven’t taken the Serta survey yet, but I do know that I mostly sleep on my side while my husband tends to sleep on his back. I’m curious to see what the results are! What about you? What is your preferred sleeping position?

Disclosure: Through a partnership with Serta, I received a complimentary mattress set and compensation for my time and efforts in creating this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
