Organizing our new home is one of our top priorities and on our constant to-do list these past few months and I imagine, for the next few months. Little by little, we’re working on small areas within each room to make the task more manageable and ensure our lives are not consumed by working on the house. After all, our kids do enjoy having some fun mixed in with the responsibilities. As we organize our various spaces, I’ve been scoping out new home organization techniques or fun home hacks that would help us organize our home in a more efficient manner. Recently, I came across a super simple bathroom hack that will help you organize your bathroom cabinet space under the sink! Let me show you how it works.

Bathroom Cabinet Hack: Create Space Under Your Bathroom Sink

Bathroom Cabinet Hack: Create Space Under Your Bathroom Sink!

To create more space in the cabinet under your bathroom sink, you can use a shower curtain tension rod to hang spray cleaning bottles, gloves, rags, etc., which then frees up the floor for other items. So simple, isn’t it? Here’s what you’ll need for this project:

  • Shower curtain tension rod
  • Spray bottles (or your regular spray cleaning supplies)
  • Cleaning gloves (optional)
  • Shower curtain hooks (optional)

Once you’ve gathered the necessary items from your local Walmart, simply set up the tension rod in your chosen cabinet, hang the cleaning bottles, add shower curtain hooks if you want (to hang rags, gloves, or other items from), and you’re done! You can also hang gloves and rags directly onto the rod, if you prefer.

Now that these items are up on the tension rod, your cabinet floor has more space to be organized more efficiently! You can add caddies and baskets to help organize remaining items that cannot be hung to create a nicely organized bathroom cabinet that works for you and your family. Won’t that be great? Be sure to check out the Walmart.com page for more spring cleaning and home improvement tips and ideas!

What other home organization hacks can you share with us to kick our spring cleaning into gear?
