This past Friday, Star Wars fans celebrated Force Friday during a fun midnight event at local Walmart stores! Did you head out for the Force Friday fun? I stayed up way past my mom-bedtime to attend our local store’s midnight Force Friday festivities and join fellow Star Wars fans in checking out the launch of various Star Wars products. There’s so much Star Wars merchandise available this year in honor of the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, that if you’re a Star Wars fan you definitely won’t be disappointed! Let me share a bit about the Force Friday fun and Star Wars items you can now find at Walmart and on Walmart.com.
Star Wars Fans Celebrate Force Friday
As Star Wars fans lined up just before midnight, waiting for the newest Star Wars items to be showcased, I noticed the excitement in their faces. From teenagers to grown-ups, all that attended Force Friday events were there because they truly are fans. At various Walmart stores across the nation, the Force Friday celebrations consisted of staff in costumes, free Star Wars cupcakes, and giveaways of exclusive-to-Walmart collectible Star Wars Galactic Connexions trading discs for guests in attendance. The main attraction, of course, was the variety of Star Wars merchandise!
Star Wars Toys for All
There are some pretty cool Star Wars toys available in anticipation of December’s release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens! You can learn how to be a Jedi from Legendary Jedi Master Yoda ($179.99), fly your own Millennium Falcon ($109.99), and build unique lightsabers with the new Bladebuilders kit ($49.99)! Of course, you can also find various Star Wars action figures, from classic characters like Luke Skywalker to new characters like Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma. You’re sure to find lots to add to your Star Wars collection!
For any Star Wars fans, the new Star Wars toys, video games, collectibles, and other Star Wars merchandise (such as home items, food, and even makeup!) will definitely be a great gift idea for the upcoming holiday season! It’s exciting to see such a grand variety of Star Wars items to fit the taste of a diverse fan-base. As the release date of Star Wars: The Force Awakens nears and our anticipation builds, at least we can all have fun with Star Wars toys and products while we wait!
