What do you normally do on Mother’s Day? Do you stay home and relax? Go out to eat?
This will be my 5th year celebrating Mother’s Day for myself; before that it was all about my mami. Of course, that means that I share the celebrations with my mom now. Usually, this means I do a little relaxing at home with my family and then visit my mother for the other half of the day. I think once we all went out to eat together. But, we’ve never really done a family day out for Mother’s Day. I think maybe next year I will plan a beach trip so we can all enjoy the wonderful May weather and both my mom and I can relax by the ocean.

We go to church in the morning and then head to my mom's house for a pool party. The guys do most of the cooking and cleaning up so we can relax.

My husband goes and spends it with his mother and I spend it with my mother and family.
Usually my husband and kids let me sleep in and they make me a nice breakfast and perhaps clean up the house. I always get some excited kids giving me beautiful handmade gifts which is just awesome and then we go to church. The afternoon is lazy and spent doing something fun as a family.

We normally host a get together and have both my Mother and Mother in Law and our families over for a BBQ. Thanks so much.
My sister and I call our mom in Korea the Saturday night before, so that it's after noon in Korea. We also send out flowers to our paternal grandmother and at least a card to our “grandmother” in KY. My best friend also receives a card, and she has given us cards for being the Godmothers to her children.
My husband and daughter take me out to dinner so I don't have to cook.

My kids wake me up with breakfast in bed (usually made with the help of either Dad or McD's), then they give me presents and cards and tell me how much they love me. After that they all disperse and I spend the rest of the day doing anything I want. My hubby takes care of everything and I have to do nothing. It's fantastic!!! We usually go out for dinner since I don't cook on Mom's Day!!

I generally take my Mom out on Saturday for brunch, then spend Saturday evening and Sunday morning chasing down our (grown) kids and reminding them to call my wife. Sunday night, I cook for my wife.
I would celebrate mom's day if she was still living by sending her a nice card possible get together for dinner..
We don't normally do anything special on Mother's Day. My kids give me cards and usually some pretty flowers to plant in my garden then we go on about our day.
I normally celebrate Mother's Day by having breakfast prepared by my husband and children. After opening cards and gifts, we all go to my grandmother's to celebrate with extended family at her house.

Sadly, because I work at the hospital, I usually celebrate Mother's Day at work. BUT! My Dudes always give me a gift and take me to lunch or dinner or whatever my schedule allows for too. It sorta stinks, but people get sick everyday so it's just a part of the job. Would love to win this though!

For mothers day, I always prefer to go out and spend a day together doing something fun. We have gone to the zoo, various museums, theme parks, and just shopping before. I would rather have that time together than a physical gift. Thanks!

We noramlly celebrate Mothers Day by the entire family going to my mom, now a lot of peoples grandmas house and hanging out with her, making food and cleaning.

Well, this was my first mother's day as a mother, but I think it was pretty great. We went to church, had a nice breakfast at a local diner, played games all afternoon together, watched a movie later and hubby made me dinner. He also cleaned the bathroom!!! I can't ask for any more than that.

Well My son and family lives out of town and my daughter is always working and taken care of her daughter ( She is a single mom) So I spend time a lot by myself due to husband works different shifts. So my house is quiet and relaxing.

I’ve only had two Mother’s Days so far, so no specific traditions. This year, my daughter went to her dad’s house so I could sleep in and have a relaxing day! Next year, she’ll be a little older and it will be more fun to celebrate together!
