Convenient, Easy Snack Solution for Back to School: Lance Quick Starts {Giveaway}

September 11, 2015 By Melanie Edwards 149 Comments

Sponsored Content

While your kids may have started school this week, mine have been in school for three weeks now! My not-so-baby-girl is in 4th grade and excited for all that’s coming this school year, like the possibility of joining the school’s choir. She is growing so much and with that, comes an increased appetite. An increased appetite plus a later lunch schedule meant we had to switch a few things around in our morning routine (eating breakfast a bit later in the morning) and also pack her an extra snack for the mid-morning. Thankfully, the school realized that the later lunch meant hungry, unfocused 4th graders and is allotting an in-class snack time prior to their lunch!

Lance Quick Starts, Easy School Snack Solution

Since snack time is not to interrupt instructional time, the snack we pack really needs to be an easy-to-eat, dry snack. Something small that won’t be messy and that she can eat one-handed while writing, reading, or doing other classwork. When we recently received the new Lance Quick Starts, I knew they would work great for her mid-morning snack at school. So far, she’s loving these new biscuit sandwiches, particularly the Bacon Cheddar flavor! Check out more about Lance Quick Starts below and be sure to scroll down for a great giveaway!

Lance Quick Starts: Convenient Biscuit Sandwiches, Great for Back to School!

The new Lance Quick Starts are marketed as breakfast biscuit sandwiches that are great to grab and go. However, while that may be an occasional quick fix for me as an adult, I know that my kids need a bigger breakfast to fuel them up for their day. That’s why we’ve been using Lance Quick Starts as either a mid-morning snack for my girl (as I described above) or a quick after-school snack for her and her 4-year-old brother. Made with whole grain crackers and a variety of filling flavors, Lance Quick Starts provide a bit of protein, fiber, and whole grains to fill that gap in-between meals.

With a retail price of $2.99, each box of Lance Quick Starts includes five packages of six biscuit sandwiches. You’ll find Lance Quick Starts in the following eight flavors, making it easy to find a flavor your kids and family will enjoy!

  • Blueberry Muffin
  • Cinnamon Roll
  • Maple French Toast
  • Chocolate Creme
  • Raspberry Greek Yogurt
  • Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • Everything Bagel
  • Bacon Cheddar

I know you want to try these out for yourself, so be sure to enter our giveaway below so you too can try the new Lance Quick Starts! Plus, you’ll also have a bit of spending money for groceries, back to school clothes, or a fun day out with the family!

    No kids at school, but we never got a snack in class when I was in school. Except college – we could quietly eat snacks when I was in college if it didn’t make noise, smell, or make a mess.
