Very nice post about SAHM. I consider myself one (wk part time outside home) and like you my mother was SAHM/housewife for part of my life as well. She did an amazing job keeping it all together. I'm the mother to 3 young boys and seven year later, I'm still struggling to make sense my life as an educated mother who chooses to stay home with my children. There are so many people who impose (well meaning, I'm sure) pressures on me to go back to the workforce. And, honestly some days I miss it, but I'm afraid I'll miss more if I go back. That's my two cents on the matter and (if you visit my blog you'll have proof) I'm no expert:)!
