Ana: So glad your baby is over it. I know it will pass...deep down anyway. But, as you said, it still sucks and it *feels* like it will never end. Thanks for the words of encouragement, though.

Philippa: Ok, seriously? Malaria would definitely be something they should have told you about! I kept you away because of coughing! But, I do appreciate the offer.

You poor things. I wish I could be of more help. My mom would probably freak. We went to a friends house yesterday and their daughter (who was in the other room) had Malaria and Scarlette Fever. She was so upset that we didn't know before we went inside because she swears I am going to be sick now. She is watching my like a hauk.

I hear and feel you, Melanie. My 18-month old just got out of a six-week, horrible, thought it would never end bout of sickness. Days of super high fever, croup, pink eye (twice in 6 weeks!) and your run-of-the-mill cold stuff. I'm sharing this with you because I seriously thought there was no way that was normal and even asked, semi-seriously, the pediatrician if they had a frequent visitor discount or something. He reassured me it was all normal.
Still sucked, though.
Guess what? It finally passed! And I've now been counting our "healthy and happy" weeks.
Hang in there, you're not alone. Your love is all your baby needs. Life always takes care of itself.

Take a deep breath and let it out. It will get better. This is only a season and it too shall pass. Enfocate en lo importante... tu familia. Dios te provene el resto. El trabajo siempre va estar alli y si no pues El te dara algo para sostenertetu familia... como el blog. You are in my prayers.

Awwww... I feel your pain. My children are grown but a Mom never forgets how it feels to have a sick child, and being pulled in so many different ways.

Take care of yourself too :)
