It seems that one of the reasons we’re having a harder time finding our balance is that we’re no longer splitting up our various roles. The average 2010 American is instead multitasking all day, every day. Some interesting stats from the study:
- 83% of Americans said they often take care of work matters from home
- 59% stated that they often handle personal matters at work
- 62% of respondents said they are constantly multitasking
- On average, someone working from home is doing five tasks simultaneously

I need a personal assistant because I'm a single mother with no help whatsoever from anyone. I cook, I clean, I do the laundry, I pay the bills, I balance the checkbook, I shop, I drive, I work. Things can get pretty hectic and it would be nice to have a little assistance and a nice weekend staying at a Hyatt Place hotel.
well… since I was diagnosed with breast cancer things have gotten a little out of control with keeping up with all of our paperwork – we're both college students with no income other than student loans so we have to file for financial assistance for everything from medical care to electricity to keep the lights on and each application takes a boatload of paperwork that has to be kept up. And I'd like to be able to spend a little more quality time with my baby girl and husband.

My husband and I are trying to start a business in addition to him having a very demanding full-time job, it would be great to have a virtual assistant to help with some database entry/editing an also to do some researching for us.
I need a personal assistant because I have both a teenager and a 2 year old! And I work full time as a teacher
I am surrounded by kids and people asking me to do things for them constantly! It'd be nice for someone to do something for me instead
