- 59% stated that they often handle personal matters at work
- 62% of respondents said they are constantly multitasking
- On average, someone working from home is doing five tasks simultaneously

This is an AWESOME contest.
I would use a virtual assistant to manage my work emails, I think. Actually, I'm not really familiar with how a virtual assistant works. My fantasy assistant takes my clothes to the drycleaner – which I've never actually done myself.
I need a personal assistant because I only got married 6 months ago and I haven't spent any time with my new husband. Why? Because I am always working. If I am not working, I am traveling. I need HELP!
I really need a personal assistant to help handle our family finances. Husband and I are going to be tackling our family budget for the first time since we started our new jobs. I don't know, I just don't think we are equiped to handle such a task. We have some many hopes and plans for our future and want to make sure we are saving and spending wisely.
Oh and we could really use a quick romantic getaway, it's been quite a while since we have had one.
I'm gonna have a baby soon and will be too busy with the little one to work on some personal projects. A virtual assistant would be great for research and report writing. I also want to check out the Santa Fe, NM Hyatt Place when it opens in June.
I started my own home-based writing business last fall, and blog for several different outlets. There's a lot of email and paperwork that I never seem to get to! I'd love a VA to help me out with some of those tasks, to help me keep on top of things. Wouldn't mind a little weekend away from the stress, either …

I need a personal assistant because life is hard when you are a single mother, who works full-time, goes to graduate school part-time and then has to come home and try to supplement my income online by doing various part-time jobs.
I am single mom who is currently unemployed engaged in a job search while managing two sites http://www.newyorkcitysinglemom.com and http//www.nycsinglemomreviews.com, contributing writer to three other sites. I would use an assistant to not only manage my writing calendar, job search follow up emails/setting up appointments but setting up personal appointments.
